Yes - we DO need immigration reform - let's start with SSI

Most of us work hard, pay tax, and look forward to retirement at some point. Part of our retirement is SSI - and, of course, medicare, which we all pay dearly for.

Our representatives continue to talk about immigration "reform" - while most of us simply want to see the current laws enforced - and illegals deported.

Unfortunately, your elected officials decided some time ago that illegals can now file for benefits under OUR system. In fact - THEY GET MORE THAN WE DO.

Read the example below - then write your representatives and tell them to disallow ALL illegals:
___________________________________________________________________

If a immigrant is over 65 they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more Social Security than a citizen who worked from 1944 till 2004 - and getting $791 per month. This citizen was born before 1924 and there is a 'catch 22'.

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single "refugee" with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also obtain an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2,470.00/month EACH.

Compare this to a single pensioner, citizen, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 00 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement. Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees?

Go ahead and confirm this - then forward it to every American to expose what our elected politicians have been doing over the past 11 years.

All Americans must demand that only persons who actually worked for their Social Security benefits receive them.
